Rick, It has been a few years, so I'm not sure of the message number. When we first set up a DDM application and had multiple users trying to connect, we discovered that there were limits to the number of users who could use the connection. IIRC, the DDM connection device was set up to allow 8 user jobs. Once a user used a connection, their job held it until the job ended or it timed out. Our solution was to create a data queue with monitor program to update the DDM files. That way we could have as many users as we wanted and still only use one DDM line. The profiles and authorities appear to be set up correctly on both boxes, but some users can open it, and some cant. the error is one that is specific to DDM files, and doesn't tell me much - has anyone gotten this message before, and what was the cause? Thanks, Rick Message ID . . . . . . . . . : CPF9155 Message file . . . . . . . . : QCPFMSG Library . . . . . . . . . : QSYS Message . . . . : Cannot communicate with DDM target system.
