Yes, you might want to use a BIN or TYPE I (for image) option to
transfer the file... Simply issues a BIN or TYPE I or I command before
the GET/PUT.

ftp>namefmt 1
ftp>get /remotedirectory/yourfile /localdirectory/yourfile
