Thanks also Shannon, but same problem as before, the PC is not a device
thats logged on to the AS/400.

I don't think actually that it can be done, other than some sort of
'broadcast' by my AS/400 or other program that can be answered by the PC, &
I don't know if that can be done either.

know the IP address of the specific PC that runs our program.

In a network where the PC's have dynamically assigned IP addresses (from
the iSeries), is there any way to identify the IP address of a
particular PC ?
