Create a source member in a source physical file that you can run using the
RUNSQLSTM command.
This source member can contain a statement like:

CREATE TABLE qgpl/mytable AS (SELECT * FROM qgpl/basetable WHERE ....) WITH
DATA;

NOTE: support for this type of sql statement started in V5R2.  Alternative
is CREATE TABLE first and then INSERT INTO the table just created.

Then in your CL do RUNSQLSTM command.  I usually change the COMMIT parameter
to *NONE, but you don't have to.

Another way would be to write a QM query and run it with the *OUTFILE option
for the OUTPUT.
