Yeah, I noticed that after I saw Martin's reply, and noticed the subject line in more detail. I was thinking the discussion was about the QA* files, rather than the subset. So, you stand corrected when your follow-up posting said "I stand corrected"...;-) I'm still unclear if the QADB* files are kept up in near-real time like the QSYS2 files are (and if they are one and the same). And, again, don't recall WHY IBM documented that they should NOT be used (iirc). | -----Original Message----- | From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx | [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of rob@xxxxxxxxx | Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2004 2:09 PM | To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion | Subject: RE: qadb reference files | | | jt | | This is exactly what the QADB* files are. The *dbxref stuff. | However IBM | has adopted the technique used by the rest of the world and put logicals | over these in QSYS2 that use the standard naming conventions like | SYSTABLES, etc.
