You hit ATTN on any other TN5250 client (such as the one I designed for our ThinView and Wintouch products), and it brings up the Operational Assistant. Or whatever the user has set. (Or nothing at all, if *NONE is set). Besides, if you look at the locks for the job that's running the Telnet CLIENT, and is in the ATTN *PNLGRP, you'll find that the lock on that *PNLGRP is on THAT side, NOT the SERVER side! In short, when that *PNLGRP appears, the Telnet SERVER hasn't received the ATTN key (and won't, unless you select the option for the CLIENT to pass the ATTN on to the server. Maybe if you were to pre-empt that *PNLGRP with one of your own? -- JHHL
