Don: IS this real EDI or something like NSF2.0? Most of the translators can handle data wrapped into either 80 or 132 byte records. So just created a PF or either 80 or 132, then use the CPYFRMSTMF command and used the *FIXED option to load the data to the PF. The data will be wrapped. You can then pass that data to your translator. If you must have the data as one segment per record, you then can write a little program to unwrap the data. It is a pretty easy program to write.
