your post was perfectly clear - seems like I was the culprit !

I was surprised that a security setting for ODBC was bypassed by something as simple as using another ODBC driver is all.

When I wrote about the ODBC function being deactivated I meant (or tried
to) the Security Policy Settings you can set thru Ops Nav. I suppose that
the HIT driver does not use the same security settings that the CA
Express driver does.

Let me apologize if I my post wasn't clear. That happens when you try to
explain things in a different language (my native language is Spanish).
