Another good source of information is the V5R2 Information Center. Search
on 'ftp secure' and you'll find quite a bit of information on securing ftp
with ssl (in addition to exit programs) .

There's a redbook numbered SG24-5954-00 called
AS/400 Internet Security Scenarios: A Practical Approach
It gives 2 FTP exit program examples.

There's also another book

AS/400 Internet Security:
Securing Your AS/400 from HARM in the Internet
The number is SG24-4929-00
There are also some examples in that book.

If you go to www.ibm\redbooks and search for those numbers or titles you
should be able to find the books. Personally used the examples in the
first book and am very pleased with how well they work.

Has anyone done secure FTP on the = AS400? I've done lots of
'normal' FTP
programs and processes, but = no secure FTP.

Just looking for a yes/no and maybe = someplace to head for some
info.

   Thanks much,
   Brian
