Technically, if you trigger the program from an interactive job, the 
trigger should run in that same job.  If you trigger the program from some 
C/S job then simply do a WRKOBJLCK MYUSRID *USRPRF to find the name of 
that C/S job and service that.
Triggers are not spawned off into another job, (unless your trigger does 
it's own SBMJOB).

How do I debug a Trigger program?






How does one go about debugging a trigger program?

Since the trigger is at the DB level, it's not and interactive or batch 
job.
 
Is it similar to debugging a batch job where you must start a service job? 

Or is there another method to do step by step debugging of the trigger 
program?
