Problem changing keyboard map in iSeries Access v5r2 on Win XP

Our PC person was setting up iSA v5r2 w/SP SI09809 on a new laptop running
Win XP.

She was trying to customize the keyboard map by selecting a key,
highlighting the text between the brackets and typing over it with the new
function.

For instance
[field exit]

the 'field exit' is highlighted and she types 'enter'

But this wouldn't work.  On the screen, it looked as if the new text was
"over printed" on the old.

On my Win2000 PC running the same version of iSA it works fine.

Has anybody else seen this?
