Carel, I got it thanks! For some reason it couldn't find the file on OPT01 (iSeries cd-rom drive) even though I could view it with WRKLNK. I took someone elses suggestion and copied the file to an IFS folder. I was then able to use CPYFRMIMPF command. If anyone knows why you can't do this directly from OPT01, that would be most helpful.
