Given that FTP is out of consideration and SNADS is your intended direction, I'd guess the obvious answer is SNDNETF/RCVNETF. I don't see much reason for ICF programming at all for this. Once the SNADS configuration is in place, it's almost just one command on the source system and the other command on the target system as soon as the transfer is finished. Unfortunately, if something such as a CCSID mismatch is causing the current problem, I don't know if _any_ transfer technique will help.
