RE: 27,538 Sign-on attempts not valid

Hate to admit it but the machine has no CAE service packs.  It one of 20
shop floor PC's that are on CAE V4R5 without a service pack.  We are
basically using CAE for 5250 emulation only.  In fact, we were going to
install terminals until manufacturing engineering requested PC's so that
they could create assembly instructions accessible from a browser.

I will remove the auto log on. What it's purpose anyway?

Have u got latest v4r5 CAE service pack sf 67276?
(never expect cae to run without a svc pack)

Do you have setup to auto logon? - remove that.

I have a vague recollection of having same problem, and updating
svc pack for either w2k or CAE, and removing any auto logon.
Is this w2k pro? with it's svc packs?
