Personally, I'd recommend ThinView(tm). Then again, I'm biased: I wrote a goodly chunk of it, and I'm the only individual who's been actively coding on the thing from day one. I designed the emulation function, and implemented much of it, and both designed and implemented the FTP client. Its terminal emulation function (which is also available in our Wintouch contact management product) is the only emulator I use, and is (to my eye at least) the next best thing to my preferred weapon for interacting with the various AS/400s around the office (i.e., a 3487HC with a 4-input Twinax switch mounted on top of the screen housing). -- James H.
