Maybe not, but it would appear that HPT is supposed to be able to render to
a dot matrix printer, though I haven't ever had to try it.  I think the
vendor did not give a complete answer, as many *IPDS features are supported
on non *IPDS printers via Host Print Transform.  AFPDS is the way to go
here, I think.

Bryan, We are try to get a Bar Code to print on a Epson FX-980  printer,
but this printer is attach thru a Client Access session and not a Network
connection, according to the vendor we need to have the printer defined as
a *IPDS to get the bar code to print.
