Are you sure it was the CMS product that did that? I believe any source that requires a precompiler (like SQLRPGLE) will show the source as being in QTEMP, and even CRTBNDRPG will act similarly, because it needs to create the module (in QTEMP) before it creates the program. You might be able to get around the problem by customizing the compile commands a little. Maybe you could do precompiles from library SRCA to SRCA2 or something.
