As far as I remember you shouldn't have any problems restoring simple data 
and program libraries from a V3R7 machine to a V5R2 machine.  Well, at 
least not any that are release specific.  You've already covered the 
media.  Next will be object owners, authorization lists, etc.

V3R7 to V5R2 restore ??






I haven't tried a restore from V3R7 to V5R2 and need to know it will work? 

 I've have some Data and Pgm libs to move to a new system. Tape formats 
are compatible.
