Don, Great idea, and I will certainly keep it in mind next time I go. unfortunately, this was my first Common, so I had nothing to base that experience on... 20 years in IBM midrange, and I finally made it to a common! such a sad case.... ;) thanks to all who answered, i'll try and contact the speakers. Picking up a box is usually easy, especially at common and I just tape it up, slap a waybill on it and leave it at the hotel front desk. I recommend taking a roll of really good wide plastic 3M packing tape and the waybills as well as the little plastic envelopes they go in which attach to your package...
