Hi folks I've been using the virtual ethernet between LPARs for the first time, and I'm a bit surprised by the speed, or rather the lack of it. What would be expected from it, as it's simulating 1Gbit ethernet. I FTP'd an 8Gb save file between two partitions (neither of which was doing much - we haven't gone live on the box yet) and it only managed 7Mb/sec transfer rate.
