Any users of GOTOMYPC.COM?

I've been asked to evaluate this product (gotomypc.com) by a vendor (from
which we have purchased one of their products). They suggested having their
users (and later our users) use gotomypc.com to make connections to their
product. The vendor seems to think this is a viable alternative to VPN. Does
anyone know anything regarding this product and the quality of security it
supplies? Also, it seems to me to be more costly in the long term when
compared to VPN.
