That's what debate is about: raising points and counterpoints, not ignoring hard questions. You do it differently. You make a statement, I oppose it, you have no counterpoint, and so you blow off my statement with some sarcastic remark. You then continue with the argument on a different tack, one more congenial to your position. That's picking and choosing, and tends to remove any chance of real debate. Just my observation. Joe
