But you're right, if you plug your iSeries into the Internet with no administration you're likely to have problems. Anyway, you're picking and choosing your arguments. You ignored the fact that every other day I seem to see a new major security hole in Windows. I just checked my updates... of the last eight updates, six of them had wording like the following: "A security issue has been identified that could allow an attacker to remotely compromise a computer running Microsoft Windows and gain complete control over it." SIX of these. There are areas where Windows competes with OS/400, but security just isn't one of them. Joe
