I wasn't implying either a) or b). In your original post you state that people 
"don't want to give away what they can charge for" - granted, there are things 
that one can do as a loss leader but your statement seems to be the basic tenet 
for earning a living, either as self employed or as a business entity. But you 
may do business differently in your part of the world.
