Well, I found I had a shared network connection - but I sure hadn't used it
in a long time. When I clicked on it,
a box popped up asking for the password of user SECWENZE.

I haven't even worked with the file system explorer today - so I guess it
must have been some windows-internal
function that searched that drive.
