Private authorities are a pig! I've pretty much banned the use of "supplemental groups". It's amazing: 1) How people used that to get *ALLOBJ 2) How much disk space that eats up. We have a 840 with a fast 3590 tape drive. When we tried supplemental groups the private authorities ate up so much disk space that our SAVSYS jumped from 4 minutes to 45 minutes. IBM dialed in, checked it out, and that definitely was the problem. Better to use authorization lists or some other method.
