They have had an OS/400 based merchandising system for years. I'm not sure if it goes back to the System/38. More recently (still a pretty long time ago) JDA developed an open systems based merchandising system. I don't think there are many common elements between the OS/400 product and the open systems version. Even more recently JDA has purchased a lot of complementary products from other companies (including Arthur and E3). Their products are marketed as a suite though some have wildly different architectures -- sometimes because of the applications requirements, or because they were originally developed by different companies at different times. -Jim
