Unless I'm missing something, that works fine only as long as the database that is being sub-selected from lives on the same platform as the datatabase being inserted into. Our problem is that we've got the data on one platform (Domino), and we're constructing a SQL statement and then using ODBC to send it to the other platform (our AS/400). So I don't see how we can refer to other tables, field names, etc. that exist in Domino; the only option we have is to construct the statement using the values they represent. Or am I missing something?
