Will a multiple row insert from a sub-select work. Something like this. insert into test (itnbr,house) select itnbr,house from amfliba/itembl where itnbr = '01136' Thanks, Mark Mark D. Once their data is in Domino, we want to move it over to our AS/400, and our developer has chosen SQL inserts for the task. There may well be a better way, but he's been doing a fair number of Domino to AS/400 integration projects here, and I think he's pretty familiar with the possibilities. Doing row-at-a-time inserts works, but it's just kind of slow, so I told him I'd see if I could find a way to speed it up, and I thought multiple row inserts might work.
