the windows developers appear to be all pumped up following the recent MS
PDC ( professional developers conference ). Here is the text of what BG had

I am sure most of what he has to say is babble, but as Arnold says, where
there is smoke there is fire.

An interesting thing about Longhorn and CLI is that ( if I recall what I
read correctly ) Longhorn ( the next MS OS ) will couple the managed code
runtime ( JVM ) even closer to the OS than .NET does now.

MS continues to spend money and reinvent its software. IBM and its open
source allies have to do the same.
