Since the code supplied will run on BSD how hard can it be to port to Linux/AIX on the iSeries. For that matter how hard is a native port? In other words - what has ILE got to do with it. I like Java as a language and regret MSs attitude over it. Much as I dislike MS, I have to admit that CLI, which potentially embraces all languages, makes a lot more sense than a strategy of "switch to Java and to heck with your existing applications".
