I googled for blackberry lawsuit and came up with lots of stuff, this link

RIM (blackberry maker) lost thier patent infringment suit with NTP and 
could face 58 million in damages, and are working on thier appeal.

meanwhile, Thier stock is going through the roof, they're selling 
blackberrys like hotcakes, and Merrill Lynch rates them a BUY!

they are nearing a million subscribers, so even if they lose the lawsuit 
it appears they probably won't go out of business.
