I think the steps involved apply to more than just those models.  I think 
they were just explaining how to return to normal mode with those models. 
At least that's my interpretation.  Why limit the steps on how to return 
to normal to those models I don't know.  Unless they figure that anyone 
running a different model may be savvy enough to figure it out on their 
own.

I wonder about their internal PTF documentation......

And the SRC mentioned is below.

A Power Down System (PWRDWNSYS) command that did not complete, ending with
a system reference code of B900 3F10

So I could see the need for forcing an IPL, but we gotta at least get the
model numbers right.


I haven't seen that one in a looong time....
