This is way out there, I think, but maybe someone can say it can be done. If QTEMP is at the top of the user libl, what if there were a way to move the object to the user's QTEMP from another job. I know I've seen a way to *access* another job's QTEMP contents, but whether you can manipulate objects might be another story. Another option might be to fiddle with SysReq-3, the activity of which is controlled by a message ID in QCPFMSG (forget which, check archives). Maybe you could temporarily change it to issue ADDLIBLE MYLIB, have the user do a SysReq-3, then change it back to DSPJOB. Don't know if the ADDLIBLE would "touch" the job you've interrupted with SysReq or not. I don't have time to investigate either approaches, but I'd be interested to know results if anyone tries them, especially the SysReq-3 idea.
