Is it not possible to correct the CCSID of the source data? CCSID 65535 is used to indicate binary data, and as such will not translate EBCDIC to ACSII as you wish. CHGPF lets you change CCSID (with some restrictions, see help). If I add it to the connections string, there is no change and it just doesn't work. The only thing I can assume at this point is that I am using a different version of the OLE DB provider against the different OS/400 version.
