Strange QSYSOPR messages

I apologize for the length of this but thought some of you might find it
interesting.  This afternoon my QSYSOPR MsgQ received all of these messages
in one 10 minute period:

The Object not found messages were all CPF9801's referring to objects of
type *USRPRF.  The Grace period expired messages were for a Client Access
option we don't use.

After a bit of running around I found that the network people here had run a
port scanner against the subnet my iSeries is on.  The port scanner then
simulated attacks against the open ports that it found.  The only obvious
effects on the iSeries were that one of three HTTP server instances failed
and two QRWTSRVR jobs (DRDA Server) went into a loop and started eating up
the CPU (until I shut them down.)

At least this job is never boring....
