No, unfortunately, it doesn't currently handle proxies.    Support for
proxies could certainly be added, but since I do not have access to an
HTTP proxy, I do not have any way to see what I need to do, or test the
code once it's written.

Of course, you could add support for proxies (since it's open-source) and
contribute the code back to the project.  That would be a nice way to help
out with it... :)
