I dont disagree with advertising, but you need something cutting edge to
advertise first. Like improving ILE so it rivals microsoft's CLR. ILE has
not been improved in many years and there is no sign of plans for any new
features like procedure overloading, namespaces and partition to partition
call marshalling.  I would prefer that IBM spend its next available dollar
on improving ILE instead of on advertising.

We already know it is a great box.  I for one would like to see a tv
commercial
dedicated to the iSeries. It should then be aired it in the middle of shows

as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"(too bad it is gone now).  What better way is
there
to get the next generation of IT programmers/managers thinking/wondering
about
the iSeries.
