Then what's all that stuff in iSeries Navigator for? Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." The caveat is that it's only offered through a support line contract, program is already written, last I checked it's $495 for a site license. QZRDSNTP is the sbs name it runs in, job inside the sbs is called SNTP. You call it with the parms of how often to check in minutes and the time server to hit. Works great. jch -----Original Message----- From: rob@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:rob@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2003 4:49 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: How to move forward IBM doesn't even support SNTP. We did step by step instructions on it and it royally messed up our system time. Called IBM and the first thing they tried to peddle was a Consult line contract. Stopped me dead right after the word SNTP. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
