Communications Trace Record Status

Anybody know where the "Record Status" field on the OS/400 communications
trace (the one from STRCMNTRC or SST) is documented?

As I recall, the field can be used to determine things like signal states on
the comm port (in this case RS232/V24) but I don't know where the trace
contents are documented. The trace in question is of an async line.
