A simple call like CALL PGM(MYRPG) PARM(&MYVAR) should be fine. Provided that &myvar in the cl program matches the definition (type and size, the name can be different) in your RPG. Welcome to the dark side. :-) For more of your RPG questions there are some manuals, etc available at IBM's Infocenter, http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/index.htm or this list's store: http://store.midrange.com/books.htm There's even an RPG specific list at: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/rpg400-l Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." (any special quotes or something you need when doing the call and passing the parameter) I am trying to get up to speed with RPG and am trying just to find out if it's possible before I dig too deep.
