Exact parameter matching is important, and not just the number of parameters. I always had a bear of a time trying to use these by passing in constants. You know, like Select filename.fld1, MyUdf('A',filename.fld2) from mylib/myfile filename Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." I have tried both of the previous suggestions without success. Removing my library from the create function causes it to be created in QGPL. I did have the incorrect number of parameters but correcting that didn't correct the problem. I can see the function in SYSFUNCTS so I know it's getting there. As far as I can tell everything is correct for the entry.
