This is the way it's extracted from our translator (Gentran - without their FTP option). Many of the partners I have dealt with have asked me to unwrap it - one record per segment. Or at least not send the CR/LF after 80 characters. I've been told that the CR/LF is a 'feature' of FTP'ing from the iSeries to Windows/Unix. I have not yet figured out how to send the data unwrapped. Gord -- Gord Hutchinson Database Administrator, IT TST Overland Express ghutchinson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 905-212-6330 fax: 905-602-8895
