I dont know if this would help or even if its what your wanting, but we had
2 AS/400s and wanted to use one for testing on a certain application. WE
didnt have the dasd space to build another enviorment so we decided to let
the users on our test system. So to give them access to the test system, we
copied the QATOC files from QUSRSYS and the config files and restored them
to the test system. The QATOC files hold your IP information and we only
needed the LAN line to let the users on so when you restore it to the test
system and disconnect the prod system from the router and connect the test
to the router it came up as if it was on the prod system.
