Guys Thanks for all the input on this. I have changed the jobd text parameter to *SECLVL and the job produces a log that is viewable on the WRKSBMJOB command. Thanks again Paul -----Original Message----- From: Ron Harvey <ron.harvey2@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 09 August 2003 01:43 Subject: RE: WRKSBMJOB and V5R2 Paul, I'm a little unclear as to whether you mean the printed reports from the job or the joblog. The job should be available from WRKSBMJOB as long as something still exists from the job (a report, joblog etc) If the reports have printed with SAVE(*NO), and the submitted job has no joblog, it will disappear from WRKSBMJOB When you submit a job and the job completes successfully a job log is not produced if the TEXT parameter (in the message logging section) is set to *NOLIST. This can come from the SMBJOB command, the JOBD etc. Changing the TEXT parameter to *SECLVL will cause a joblog to be produced regardless of how the job ends. Hope this helps a little. Ron <snip> Hi When I submit a job and after it runs successfully it is no longer accessible when I do a WRKSBMJOB. All these jobs run in QBATCH. The system value QSPLFACN is set to *KEEP. I want my spool files to be still accessible from a WRKSBMJOB. Is there something else I am missing?
