I found this at www-912.ibm.com using the global search box

#1
MASOSERVICETASK (MASOSERVIC) is used as a garbage collector to clean up memory that is leaked by applications which create synchronization resources, such as mutexes, but do not destroy these resources when they are no longer needed.

#2
Netserver task ZLSHOSTANNOUNCE ... and from a second hit the text from an APAR.

Set the Annoucement Interval property of AS/400 Support for
Windows Network Neighborhood (AS/400 NetServer) to 0. This will
cause announcements not to be sent and will avoid the problem.
A side effect of this action is that AS/400 NetServer will not
show up in server browse lists.

The rest of your tasks either came up with no hits or no hints to what they do.

What the heck is MASOSERVICETASK?

It's a task that I see running in WRKSYSACT, but I don't recognize it,
and a whole bunch of other weird tasks are happening.

I've got MASOSERVICETASK, P0FEVALUATOR, RMTMSAFETASK and RMSRVCTKLO all
running. I wait a bit, and IDELANRBOOTP runs. SMBSCAVENGER,
ZLSHOSTANNOUNCE, VTMTS0008, and a host of other jobs all run like mad
for a little while. This was in addition to the usual characters like
CFINT01, SMPL001 and SMPO001. They're all gone now, except for
RMTMSAFETASK and CFINT01, but for awhile it was mayhem on my machine,
and nothing to show for it in QHST.
