So, did the light bulb go on, or was the message lost? I'm sure that you've seen my posts about a client who started an Oracle project 3.5 years ago because the 30 (now 40) something CFO wanted GUI. Their new DBA (the 3rd in 3.5 years) told me yesterday that he thinks they'll be lucky to have everything ready by January 1, 2005. In the meantime, the 400 keeps chugging along. We did a proof of concept of the newlook product for the accounting department troops, and they liked it, but they fear that in order to save face, upper management will continue forward with Oracle.
