The right approach would be .."ADOPTED AUTHORITY".

Try that.Good luck.

Subject: Command Restriction

Hi Group,

We are trying to restrict DLTF command from being run from the command
line, but run inside the programs for certain user groups. As per suggestions
from earlier post ,doing a CHDCMD on DLTF in QSYS library with *ALLOW
parameter set as *IPGM & *BPGM does serve the purpose.

But, the problems is that the Secoffr profiles and techinical user profiles
should be allowed to run the command from
command line.I tried creating a duplicate object of DLTF(Unchanged one) from
QSYS to a library , and putting that library at the
top of library list , and making that as the current library for the Secofr
profile. The assumption was that for these profiles only the
command will be referenced from the current library, so that it can be run
from command line. However this did not work.

Can you please suggest some work around?.

Thanks and regards
Chandra Sekhar Rath
