We're looking at moving an IPCS from NT to W2K and I'm looking for any "gotchas." We know the model (don't know it offhand) is W2K capable. The plan is to: 1) Backup user data 2) Disconnect current (NT4) storage areas 3) Create new storage area for W2K 4) Install W2K SP3 on new storage 5) Restore user data (and reinstall apps) I know we could upgrade the NT4 box, but it's just as easy to reload and I feel it gives a cleaner box. With this approach we can also simply reconnect the old storage ares should anything go wrong.
