I know from my experience that all of my Windows-related programming buddies turn their nose up at the AS/400 and are ignorant about it. I've said it many times before that when I went back to school to learn the AS/400 they all, every one of them, told me the 400 was dead and I was wasting my time, if they'd even heard about the 400. Well in the past 5 years I'm the only one of them who's been employed every single day! It's a darn shame IBM hasn't invested the money into showing off their prize. Even Mercedes runs commercials!
